Lifetime Warranty You Can Trust
At Rod’s Japanese Auto Care, we stand behind our work so you can drive with confidence.
What Our Lifetime Warranty Covers
Most parts and labor we provide are backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty. If a part we installed fails due to a manufacturing defect or installation error, we will repair or replace it.
- Coverage applies to parts we supply and install
- All warranty work must be performed at our shop
- All installed parts are new unless noted on your invoice
What Is Not Covered
- Brake pads (wear item)
- Warped brake rotors from driving conditions
- Clutches and tires
- Rubber components at end of life
- Neglected maintenance
- Failures caused by other worn parts
- Racing or abusive driving
- Lack of required inspections
Keeping Your Warranty Active
To maintain coverage, bring your vehicle in for a complimentary inspection at least twice per year or every 5,000 miles.
- Verify repaired components are working properly
- Catch related issues early
- Extend the life of your vehicle
These inspections are always free.
What “Lifetime” Means
“Lifetime” refers to the expected service life of a component—not forever.
- Rubber Components: ~7 years or 100k miles
- Rotating Components: ~7 years or 100k miles
- Ball-and-Socket Parts: Similar lifespan
Brake Warranty Conditions
- Brake pads are covered only for defects, not wear
- Rotors require properly maintained suspension and braking systems
Why Inspections Matter
Regular inspections help prevent situations where another issue damages a warrantied part.
Example: A leaking valve cover could damage a newly installed alternator. Catching that early protects your warranty.
Nationwide Warranty
Many repairs include a 3-Year / 36,000 Mile Nationwide Warranty through the Certified Auto Repair network.
